STANDARD FEATURES Fixed Table moving gantry CNC Router equipped with - 1 (one) 18 Hp (11kW) router head with variable speeds from 1,000 – 24,000 RPM; - 8 (eight) position carousel tool changer The Anderson Router Spindle is equipped with maintenance free ceramic bearings, is grease lubricated and air cooled for longer bearing life. Router motor is powered by an electronic AC inverter drive system. A fast and efficient dynamic spindle brake is incorporated on the spindle motor. A mobile, carousel type, tool changer with 8-tool capacity, mounted next to the spindle for fast and efficient tool change operations. 1 (one) 5+5 (X,Y) position vertical drill, independently selectable, is located next to the Router Spindle. Hardened and precision STAR linear guide way systems with recirculating roller linear bearings are provided for all primary movements in the X, Y & Z axes. Y-axis Bridge is single piece Meehanite cast iron for superior strength, vibration resistance, and torsion resistance. Y-Axis motion is achieved by closed loop 2-channel servo and induction hardened, helical rack and pinion. X-axis The vacuum table is made of torsion resistant Meehanite cast iron, covered with a 30mm thick phenolic grid table top for the quick and easy mounting of work pieces via pods, clamps, spoil-boards, or holding fixtures all supported by a massive structural steel welded and stressed relieved base. The X-Axis motion is achieved by two sycronized servo motors , dual support, 2-channel system, using twin industrial grade, induction hardened, helical racks and pinions. Z-axis Steel Z axis tool plate specially designed for high strength and inherent vibration dampening characteristics. Z-Axis motion is achieved thru closed loop 2 chanel servo motor , Hardened and precision ground ball screws with anti-backlash ball nuts. Hardened and precision ground ball screws with anti backlash ball nuts are provided for movements of the Z axis. The X and Y-axis movement is via an industrial grade, Helical induction hardened quality rack and pinion system with zero backlash characteristics. Linear guide for high precision movements. Very easy and inexpensive to maintain. State-of-the-art, closed loop, digital servo motors for X and Y axis as well as the Z axis. Control activated air over oil auto-lubrication system on X axis. The vacuum table is made of cast iron meehanite, on to which an industrial grade, extra hard PVC/phenolic matrix table top is mounted for secure positioning of the work pieces and holding fixtures. Pop up referencing pins ensure the proper alignment of the material. The Router is equipped with two 10 HP BECKER vacuum pumps with 250 cubic meter/hour. This table and pump combination will allow a wide range of flexibility in holding large and small work pieces for safe parts processing. A safety hood for the spindle working area is provided to inhibit the operator from entering this area during machine operation.
